Amidst the global pandemic, the creative industries find themselves obscured and overlooked, grappling with a lack of visibility on a worldwide scale. In the face of political, mental, and social upheaval, compounded by the pervasive fear of the virus, individuals seek solace in an escape. In response to these tumultuous times, I drew inspiration from the renowned American performance art ensemble, the Blue Man Group, established in 1987.

The allure of their absurdity captivated me, as their whimsical presence paradoxically juxtaposes the meticulous craftsmanship evident in their music and videography. Motivated by the creative disruption embodied by this trio, I embarked on a photography series titled 'Blue da ba dee,' a nod to the mesmerizing song by Eiffel 65. Within this body of work, the strategic use of irony serves as my personal means of navigating the chaos that surrounds us, offering a distinctive perspective on the unfolding narrative.
